In a heald-frame control device on the rotation principle, suitable for a high control speed, there are arranged, for actuating the coupling element (12), two shift levers (20, 21) which are located diametrically opposite one another and which, in the work cycle of the intermittently rotatable drive element (1), execute a movement, controlled centrally for a plurality of shift levers (20, 21), towards one another and subsequently a movement away from one another. The shift levers (20, 21), at least during their movement to be directed towards one another, are loaded by a force acting in the direction of this movement for actuating the coupling element (12), one end (20', 21') of each shift lever (20, 21) being respectively retainable or releasable by means of a blocking device (31) controllable according to the particular pattern. <IMAGE>
