PURPOSE:To exactly dissipate an electric charge of an unnecessary part of a photosensitive body without providing a blank lamp, by forming a white reflecting part whose width is wider than an original of the maximum size that can be copied, and setting the width of the white reflecting part to a specific size. CONSTITUTION:In case a part of the maximum original width L is exposed, and an image has been formed on the surface of a photosensitive drum 31 by the minimum variable power rate MMIN, a reflected light from the part of the maximum original width L is led to only a range of ZMIN=LXMMIN, of the surface of the photosensitive drum 31, and only an unnecessary electric charge in this part can be dissipated. However, to the part of the outside from ZMIN, a reflected light from a white reflecting part W1 is led, and also, WXMMIN>=ZMAX, therefore, even in the part of the outside from the area ZMIN, an unnecessary electric charge of the surface of the photosensitive drum 31 can be dissipated exactly. |
