PURPOSE:To transfer data at a high speed and in a simple constitution by providing a bit order converting means into a transfer path to change each bit order constitution of the transfer path. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer system consists of a CPU 11, a program RAM 12 and a ROM 13 and performs the overall control of a control part. A data ROM 14 stores the dot pattern data on each font for conversion of character codes into a dot pattern. While a data RAM 15 stores the dot pattern data loaded down from a host machine 2. A bit order converter 16 is set between a CPU bus serving as a data transfer path and a memory bus and changes the bit order constitution of the data transfer path. Thus data are transferred among the CPU 11, the ROM 14 and the RAM 15. |
