PURPOSE:To give an excellent external appearance at the corner part and prevent the lateral flow and deflection of rain water from occurring at the side part of a molding material by a method wherein a dam is formed by heating and softening the tip part of a projecting strip and at the same time by expanding a foaming resin layer under the state that the side part of the molding material is inserted in a shaping mold. CONSTITUTION:Shaping molds 28 are provided at both side parts corresponding to the side parts 6 and corner parts 11 of a molding 4. The shaping of a molding material 24 is performed by heating it under the state being pinched between the bottom force 29 and top force 30 of the shaping mold 28 with a heating source 31 so as to soften the tip part of a projecting strip 4b by heating, and at the same time to start the foaming of a foaming resin layer 17 in a solid or medium expansion state to turn into the expansion of a foamed resin layer 18 to form a dam 16. In other words, since the formation of the dam is performed by foaming the foaming resin layer after the extrusion of the molding material, a single molding, in which an upper part and the side parts are integrally and continuously foamed, can be easily and accurately manufactured. |
