PURPOSE:To enable an image-forming position to be easily moved relative to a member to be marked, by providing an image-forming position varying optical system by which convergent light passed through an image-forming optical system is varied in two-dimentional directions on a marking surface CONSTITUTION:A marking mask 2 disposed on the optical axis of laser light L emitted from a laser oscillator 1 such as TEA CO2 laser and YAG laser, an image-forming optical system 4 comprising a lens for focusing the laser light L on a member to be marked, and an image-forming position varying optical system 10 disposed on the emission side of the image-forming optical system 4 so as to move an image-forming position relative to the member, are provided. The optical system 10 comprises a reflector 11 inclined relative to the optical axis of the incident laser light L, and two shafts 13, 14 capable of being independently moved in directions orthogonal to the image-forming position 12 on the member are respectively rotated by a driver or manually to change the angle of inclination of thereof relative to the optical axis of the incident laser light L. |
