PURPOSE:To mold a composite container having superior integrity of a container main body and a piece of paper and superior reinforcing effect by folding the edges of a developing-shaped piece of paper and loading the same into a female mold, and then pushing a foamed sheet, heated and softened, into the female mold by a male mold for molding the same, and simultaneously integrating the piece of paper and the foamed sheet. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-shaped piece of paper 2 is supplied right over a female mold 1 having a molding section 1a, over which a thermoplastic resin foamed sheet 3 such as a foamed polystyrene sheet, heated up to a specific temperature and softened, or the like is supplied. Then, by advancing a suction component 6 from the bottom of the female mold 1 to vacuum suck and draw the piece of paper 2 into the female mold 1 and contacting the piece of paper with the peripheral wall of the molding section 1a of the female mold, a side wall piece 2c can be loaded in while being raised and folded. Further, a plug mold 7 as a male mold for pressurizing means is advanced from the upper side of the foamed sheet 3, and pushes the foamed sheet 3 into the molding section 1a of the female mold 1 to be molded in the form of a basin along the molding section 1a and the piece of paper 2.
