PURPOSE:To mold a composite container of good external appearance and of superior reinforcing effect by pushing a foamed sheet, heated and softened, into a female mold loaded with paper by a male mold, molding into a given shape and simultaneously integrating the same. CONSTITUTION:A piece of paper P, supplied by a paper supplying means 3, is of a band shape with a plurality of rows of semi-die-cut sections provided with non-cut-sections and of developing-shape of a composite container, and its lower face is coated with a hot-melt type adhesive. A female mold transfer means 2 transfers intermittently a female mold 1 by a given stroke with an endlessly pivoting chain conveyor 2. The semi-die-cut sections P1 of the piece of paper P are cut off the surrounding surplus sections and pushed into molding sections 1a, and a foamed sheet S is delivered from a roll S1 and transferred intermittently by a foamed sheet supply means 5, being heated to the molding temperature and softened by a heating means 6. Then, a male mold 7 is lowered at the transfer stop position x2 of the female mold 1, and the foamed sheet S is pushed into the molding sections 1a of the female mold 1 to be molded into the form of a basin together with the piece of paper. |
