PURPOSE:To prevent the abnormal vibration of a bearing by monitoring the abnormal vibration of the bearing and opening a cooling water regulating valve for cooling bearing lubricant at a time of oil whip and opening the oil-quantity regulating valve of a bearing lubrication system at a time of oil-feeding shortage. CONSTITUTION:The pressure of lubricant from an oil tank is upped by a pump 21 and is regulated to a predetermined one by a pressure regulating valve 22, and then the lubricant is supplied through an oil cooler 23 and a flow quantity regulating value 35 to a bearing 1 used for a steam turbine rotor or the like. The quantity of cooling water for the oil cooler 32 is regulated by a cooling water regulating valve 24, and the control of oil temperature is conducted. A monitor 30 which monitors the abnormality of the shaft vibration of the rotor is, together with a pressure gauge 27, a thermometer 28 and a flow quantity gauge 36, connected to a diagnosis device 31. The diagnosis device 31 analyzes a factor which has caused the abnormality of shaft vibration, and opens the cooling water regulating valve 24 if it is due to oil whip or oil whirl and opens the flow quantity regulating valve 35 if it is due to the shortage of oil-feeding. |
