PURPOSE:To permit three-phase full wave driving with one piece of a magnetic detection element, by a method wherein a magnet for detecting position and one piece of the magnetic detection element are employed to synthesize a driving signal for said three-phase full wave driving. CONSTITUTION:An annular rotor magnet 1 is secured to the inner surface of a rotor frame 2. Bearings 5, supporting a rotor shaft 4, are mounted on the inner periphery of a supporting base 3 while a driving coil 6 is equipped on the outer periphery of the same base 3 through a stator core. A magnetic resistance element 7 is provided so as to be opposed to the position detecting unit of the rotor magnet 1. The projected pole of at least one phase among three- phase stator cores is shortened to provide a reluctance. The driving signal for three-phase full wave driving is synthesized by employing a magnet unit for detecting the position of the rotor magnet 1 and the magnetic detection element 7. |
