PURPOSE:To realize the shaft turning operation easily by horizontally laying a roughly geared shaft inside a cylinder, forming teeth part in the middle of a piston, and engaging the piston and the shaft with each other. CONSTITUTION:Rough teeth 2a are formed on the middle part of a piston 2, a shaft 3 having rough teeth 3b in mesh with the rough teeth 2a is laid inside a cylinder 1 through the center thereof horizontally, and the teeth part 2a of the piston 2 and the teeth part 3b of the shaft 3 are engaged with each other. When pressure oil is forced into the cylinder 1, the piston 2 is moved and the movement is transmitted to the shaft 3 in mesh with the piston 2 to turn the shaft 3, whereby turning said shaft 3 easily.
