PURPOSE:To reduce the elastic force required for shock absorbing so as to miniaturize a shock absorber, by inserting a shaft, which is longer than a cylinder and which is provided an installing part on its one end and a stopper on its another end, into the cylinder that is provided with an installing part on its outer surface. CONSTITUTION:A shock absorber consists of a cylinder 1, a shaft 2 and installing parts 3 and 4. The cylinder 1 is formed by forming an installing part 4 at almost the middle of an outer surface of a pipe having an opening end 1a on its one end. From this opening end 1a, a shaft 2, which has an installing part 3 at its rear end part and which has a stopper 6 that is to be fixed within the cylinder 1, is inserted into the cylinder 1. The space between the installing part 4 of the cylinder 4 and the installing part 3 of the shaft 2 is covered with a cylindrical coil spring 5. As a result, the installing position can be parted from the fulcrum of the releasing member. Thus, the elastic force required for constituting a shock absorber can be reduced, thereby minia turizing the shock absorber. |
