PURPOSE:To increase the drivability at the time of high load by computing the fundamental fuel injection amount on the basis of the relief value of suction pipe pressure, and by computing the fundamental fuel injection amount on the basis of the difference in the fundamental fuel injection amount between its previous and current values and also the factor corresponding to the number of revolutions. CONSTITUTION:Into an electronic control circuit, a pressure sensor 6 of diaphragm type installed at a surge tank 12 is fed through a CR filter with small time constant and good response, and this circuit computes weighted mean value of the suction pipe pressure. The fundamental fuel injection amount is computed on the basis of said weighted mean value of suction pipe pressure and the number of revolutions from a crank angle sensor 48, and then the correction factor increasing from 1.0 with increasing number of revolutions with respect to the difference in the fundamental fuel injection amount between the previous and current values is set in response to the number of revolutions, and the fundamental fuel injection amount undergoes a correction with the product of said two values.
