PURPOSE:To prevent the slippage in winding a strip after its being sheared by a shear by providing a side guide for preventing a winding slippage at the tip of a magnet frame. CONSTITUTION:A side guide roller 10 is made max. until an upper snubber roller 19 is brought into contact with a coil 13 so as not to contact with a strip at the descent time of a magnet frame 9. After its contacting with the frame 23 fitting the guide roller 10 by air pressure cylinders 11, 12 moves a guide bar 14 back and strokes until abutting to the end face of the coil 13. Two right and left guide rollers 10 stroke by separated air pressure cylinders, detecting the meandering amt. of a strip by a detector during winding ordinarily and moving the winding drum of a carousel reel.
