<p>PURPOSE:To perform high speed recording imparting excellent printing quality, by providing a control means performing control so as to change the heat generating quantity of a thermal head at every color of the transfer ink used in transfer recording. CONSTITUTION:When the order of transfer inks used in recording is set to yellow, magenta and cyan, in order to perform printing generating no blur, it is necessary to set the pulse widths of STB 29 necessary for the respective colors to ty<tm<tc, wherein ty, tm and tc are pulse widths when yellow, magenta and cyan are respectively printed. At first, when yellow is printed, only a semiconductive analogue switch 55 is turned ON by a switch control signal and the time constant of a one shot multivibrator 28 is determined by a condenser 52 to perform the printing of yellow. In the same way, only a semiconductive analogue switch 56 is turned on also with respect to magenta by a switch control signal and only a semiconductive analogue switch 57 is turned ON with respect to cyan and time constants are changed at every respective colors to change the STB pulse widths at every colors to make it possible to perform printing.</p> |
