PURPOSE:To prevent a line part of a transfer image from becoming a state that the inside is omitted, in its line part, and to obtain a satisfactory line image, by electrifying a toner image to the same polarity as an electrification polarity of a magnetic toner by a post-electrifier. CONSTITUTION:Images of two colors are formed by developing successively or simultaneously two kinds of electrostatic latent images which have been formed, based on different image information on an electrostatic latent image holding body 1, by a nonmagnetic toner and a magnetic toner which have been electrified to the opposite polarity to each other, and these toner images formed by a development are electrified uniformly by a post-electrifier 7, and thereafter, in the case of forming an image on transfer paper 9 by transferring this toner image to the transfer paper 9, the toner image is electrified to the same polarity as the electrification polarity of the magnetic toner by the post-electrifier 7. Accordingly, in the line center part of the toner image, no transfer failure is generated. In such a way, such a problem as a line-like image becomes an image whose inside is omitted can be obviated.
