PURPOSE:To improve the easiness and certainty of input by forming an opera tion surface in a recessed surface shape and arraying input keys on the opera tion surface in a specific direction. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard main body 1 is of size nearly corresponding to the hand 3 of an operator and has a holding part 2 for the palm of the hand on its upper front side and the recessed surface D constituting the operation surface beyond the holding part. The input keys 6-8 are arranged in the recessed surface D. The input keys 5 are so arrayed that input keys nearby the palm of the operator is in the bending direction of the fingers 4 and input keys distant from the palm has their direction coincident in the extending direction of the fingers 4.
