PURPOSE:To prevent a high frequency noise generated by a switching regulator and eliminate a shielding countermeasure by a method wherein the switching regulator for use of driving a DC motor for an indoor unit is installed in an outdoor unit and the outdoor unit is enclosed by an iron plate. CONSTITUTION:A switching regulator 52 in an outdoor unit 1 receives an input of DC voltage of a converter 4 and supplies the DO voltage to a DO motor 18 of an indoor unit 2 through a driver unit 17 and a communication line 51. The switching regulator 52 also performs a supplying of power supply to an inverter device 23 and a control means 55. Data representing an amount of air is transmitted to the control means 55 for the outdoor unit 1 through a transmission line 14 from a control means 56 for the indoor unit 2. The control means 55 for the outdoor unit 1 receives data of amount of air, controls a driver 17, sets a supplying voltage for DO motor 18 and supplies it to the indoor unit 2 through the communication line 51. It it not necessary to apply a shield acting as a countermeasure against a high frequency noise to the switching regulator and thus it can be constituted less expensively.
