发明名称 MAGNETIC FIELD APPLYING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a whole magnetic field applying device by forming a superconducting magnet in a U shape to make a semicircular magnetic field applying space opened upward to dispose an object to be applied with a magnetic field in the space, thereby efficiently applying the magnetic field having high density thereto. CONSTITUTION:A superconducting magnet 11 having a cryostat is formed in a U shape, a semicircular magnetic field applying space 12 is formed inside a bent, the space 12 is disposed at the top side of the magnet 11 and opened upward. Accordingly, a magnetic field applying device can be so disposed as to enclose an object A to be applied with a magnetic field with a superconducting coil. The space 12 in which the object A is disposed has a large magnetic flux density. Thus, the space 12 is utilized without waste to efficiently apply the generated magnetic field to the object, and the coil and the cryostat can be reduced that much corresponding to the no waste of utilizing the space 12 and the generated magnetic field, thereby reducing the size of the device.
