The invention relates to an inflatable plastic bag (1) for packaging purposes or the like. The plastic bag is made of two films (2, 3) placed one on the other and welded to one another at their edges. In order to make simple manufacture and simple handling of the plastic bags possible, it is proposed according to the invention to insert a film tube (4) into the plastic bag (1), the walls of which film tube are passable for the medium used for inflation, and to guide said film tube (4) towards the outside, the film tube (4) being welded to the films (2, 3) of the plastic bag at the passage points (10), but remaining passable in the interior. <IMAGE>
