PURPOSE:To prevent an original from moving the upper part of a read means while the original obliques or the tip of the original is folded by providing a floating preventing means to the front side of the meshing position of a read roller so as to prevent the tip of the original from being floated. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 11a and a brush part 11b constitute a floating prevention means 11. After the original 2 is fed to a feeding roller 3, it is guided by a guide member 7 and the tip approaches a brush roller 11. In this case, even if the tip of the original 2 is floated from the lower face of the guide member 7, the tip is retained by the brush part 11b of the brush roller 11 and is meshed between the read roller 8 and an image sensor 9. Thus, the original 2 does not obliques and the tip is not folded, then the original 2 is moved while being in close contact with the upper part of the image sensor 9.
