PURPOSE:To save the trouble for replying an undesired call such as a troublesome phone call by detecting an identification number sent from a caller, collating a pass word included in the detected identification number with the pass word set in advance in the titled device and using an electronic tone so as to inform the presence of a call from a specific caller to the called party when the both are coincident. CONSTITUTION:A reply section 1 constitute a loop line by detecting a 16Hz signal with respect to a call from an exchange via a line 11. A control section 2 connects a voice guidance section 3 and the line 11 by detecting a reply level signal. The voice guidance section sends a reply message requesting the sending of an identification number in a synthesized voice toward the caller. The caller, according to the reply message, sends its own identification number. Receiving the number, titled device starts a pass word collation section 7 and collates the preset pass word and the pass word included in the identification number, and when the result of collation is coincident, a call is given by an electronic tone and the incoming call from a specific caller is informed to the called party.
