A metering system for the discharge of bulk material, especially dry fodder, has at least two dispensing stations and a conveyor system. In order to achieve a high accuracy in the weight of the dry fodder dispensed in the dispensing stations, a mass-throughflow meter having a weighing container, a weighing device and a discharge device is provided, each dispensing station possessing a container fillable by the conveyor system and a discharge device, there being provided, furthermore, a control unit which, from a signal generated by a weighing device and from a variable dependent on the volume discharged by the discharge device of the weighing device, calculates a control value, on the basis of which the control unit controls the discharge device for the dispensing station.
