The eccentric press for high and very high pressing forces can provide a relatively long stroke despite its low-noise and virtually vibration-free operating behaviour by virtue of the fact that the force-transmitting connecting rod is of toggle-lever construction, being in two parts connected by a joint and being at least substantially extended in the pressing position.
