Motor vehicle window in the form of an insulating glass unit with an inner window and outer window and spacing elements, defining an intermediate window space, between the inner window and outer window. The lower spacing element consists of a rigid hollow profile and is constructed over at least part of its length as a desiccant chamber filled with desiccant. The desiccant chamber communicates with the intermediate window space. The lateral spacing elements and the upper spacing element consist of a contact-adhering sealing tape. The lateral spacing elements rest on the endsides of the hollow profile. All the frame elements are surrounded by a peripheral strip of insulating glass adhesive which is arranged in the edge joint between the inner window and the outer window. <IMAGE>
