The vehicle door has a hollow frame (1) with an internal cavity (6) and a lower opening (7). A glazing assembly (2) has a glass panel (14) with guides (15) and actuators (17). The assembly is inserted on block into the cavity via the lower opening. The hollow door frame can be largely constructed of plastics, and can be formed in a single piece, or as two shells (4,5) which define the internal cavity. The frame has openings (9) for the fitting of controls (18) for the glass raising actuators. |
