PURPOSE:To make a recording paper be under a state suitable for fixing by heating the recording paper before and after recording and to raise the fixing ability of a recording liquid by compulsively evaporating water content in the recording liquid after recording, by annexing a heating source to a member on which a printing head is mounted. CONSTITUTION:When a printing signal is transmitted from a printing command part after a paper 8 has been set to a paper feed part, lamps 7a, 7b on a carriage 1 are lighted and the carriage 1 stares to move right wards in the figure. The lamps 7a, 7b are annexed under a state where a printing head 2 is pinched between them on the carriage 1 and the paper 8 is first heated with the lamp 7a attached on the right side of the printing head 2. Recording liquid is discharged from a nozzle of the printing head 2 to the paper 8 having been heated thus. Thereafter, a printing surface of the paper 8 is further heated with the lamp 7b attached to a left side of the printing head 2. |
