PURPOSE:To have always stabilized controlling by performing response tests for examination of dynamic characteristic of the cooler in case the cooler is in stable operation but the control is in abnormal condition, and by correcting the table of control gain in accordance with the results obtained. CONSTITUTION:A variable capacity compressor 2 with swinging swash plate to be driven by an engine 1 is connected with a condenser 3, an expansion valve 4, and an evaporator 5, to constitute a cooling device for vehicle. Here a rotary sensor 16 is installed on a rotary shaft 14 of the compressor 2, and a temperature sensor 17 is installed at the outlet from the evaporator 5. Detec tion signals from these sensors 16, 17 are entered in a control device 18, which controls the duty ratio of a solenoid valve 6 constituting a capacity change mechanism for the variable capacity compressor 2. That is, a specific response test is made when the cooler operating condition is stabilized but the control is in abnormal condition, to correct the table of control gain. |
