PURPOSE:To carry out cooking with constantly stable and satisfactory result without being affected at all by the difference in the initial value of the temp. in a heating chamber by setting remaining heating time in accordance with the difference in preset total heating energy and computed heating energy. CONSTITUTION:Foodstuffs are put into a heating chamber 1. The kinds of the foodstuffs and the contact of cooking are set and operation for starting cooking is carried out by an operation part 11. Then, the oven cooking by heating of a heater 5 is started. A control part 20 reads out set temp. data previously set in accordance with the kinds of the foodstuffs and the content of cooking from a memory and takes in the detected temp. from a temp. sensor 6 and compares it with the set temp. Until the time when the detected temp. reaches the set temp., the temp. change in the heating chamber is detected at a fixed interval and the mean temp. in the heating chamber is computed. When the detected temp. reaches the set temp., the part 20 reads out total heating energy P from the memory and sets the finishing time of heating. As a result, though the initial value in the temp. of the heating chamber is different due to the remaining heat in cooking or room temp., cooking with constantly stable and satisfactory result can be carried out without being affected at all by the different initial value.
