GOVERNOR DEVICE FOR FUEL INJECTION PUMP

PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of black smoke by providing a reverse Angleich mechanism for suppressing a fuel injection quantity according to a rotating speed in connection with a tension lever of a governor device, and also providing a mechanism finely adjustable according to characteristics of engines. CONSTITUTION:A governor weight 18 is provided at an end of a pump cam shaft 16 located at a lower portion of a fuel injection pump 12. A governor force receiver 22 is located at a lower end of a governor lever 24 in opposed relationship to a thruster 20 adapted to be slid by the operation of the governor weight 18. A tension lever 32 is rotatably supported to a shaft 26 at an intermediate portion of the governor lever 24. The tension lever 32 is connected at its one end with a governor spring 44. A reverse Angleich lever 30 is supported to a shaft 40 at the other end portion of the tension lever 32. A starting spring 54 for increasing a fuel injection quantity at starting is interposed between the reverse Angleich lever 30 and the governor lever 24. A reverse Angleich spring 58 is interposed between the reverse Angleich lever 30 and the tension lever 32.
