PURPOSE:To facilitate temperature control for a refrigerator or the like by storing a maximum temperature value, a minimum temperature value and the generating times of maximum and minimum temperatures. CONSTITUTION:For example, with a time measuring timing signal 8 outputted from time measuring means 2 as a reference, a temperature measurement is conducted in temperature measuring means 1 by a temperature measuring signal 9 from a timing signal generating circuit 6 and measured data 10 are produced. A comparing circuit 3 compares the contents of the data 10 with those of the stored data of memory means 4. When the former contents are not smaller than a maximum value or not larger than a minimum value, the circuit 3 outputs a comparison signal 12 to a control circuit 7 to make the means 2 output time data 11 and the means 4 store the data 10 and 11. Further, in a normal operation, the signal 14 of the circuit 6 controls the circuit 7 and a display rewrite signal 16 rewrites the display data of display means 5. Therefore, the freshness control and the temperature control of a refrigerator or the like can be facilitated.
