PURPOSE:To prevent environmental pollution by evacuating a solvent recovery tank to efficiently recover a solvent, and isolating a cleaning vessel from the external air to prevent the diffusion of the solvent into the external air. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 3 for injecting a cleaning soln. is provided to the cleaning vessel 2 isolated from the external air, and the vessel is made so that a metallic work can be contained therein. A distillation vessel 5 for recovering the cleaning soln. is provided below the vessel 2, and connected to the recovery tank 6a for recovering the evaporated solvent through a cooler 8. A vacuum pump 4 is connected to the recovery tank 6a to evacuate the inside of the recovery tank 6a, and a cleaned soln. tank 6b is furnished to the downstream path of the pump. The solvent recovered in the cleaned soln. tank 6b is circulated to the cleaning vessel through a pipe 10, and reutilized. Since the inside of the recovery tank 6a is evacuated, the liquefied solvent can be very efficiently transferred into the recovery tank 6a.
