The fastening of heat-insulating panels (1), which consist of rigid foam, are smooth on the upper side and provided with a corrugated structure on the underside, on a roof covering formed by corrugated panels poses problems as a result of possible damage to the corrugated panels. Adhesive connections between a roof covering of this type and the heat-insulating panels are also not without problems. A heat-insulating panel (1) according to the invention is characterised by a smooth upper side (2) and a corrugated underside (3), the latter being designed for bearing on a roof covering comprising corrugated panels. Located on the upper side (2) of the heat-insulating panel (1) is a row of grooves (13) in which wooden strips (15) are introduced such that they are flush with the upper side (2). The wooden strips (15) serve to receive screws (16) which extend through the material with the heat-insulating panel (1) and through a roof covering and are consequently received directly in the roof substructure, e.g. in the purlins. By virtue of the heat-insulating panels (1) being pressed in a linear manner onto the roof covering, a reliable, in particular statically calculable, fastening of the same is achieved. <IMAGE>
