PURPOSE:To achieve improvement of a recording speed, by a method wherein when a position of a recording hammer is detected and any detection result can not be obtained even after an elapse of a specific time, braking to the recording hammer is made null. CONSTITUTION:Excitation of a coil 1 is started with a drive circuit 25, and a hammer starts to advance. Timers 201, 202 start clocking synchronized with this excitation of the coil 1 and further, a timer 200 also starts clocking synchronized therewith. Then, whether respective flags F202, F201 have been set or not is judged. These flags are to be set in status registers or the like in the timers 202, 201 and when times T4, T7 set to the timers have elapsed, they are set. Therefore, at the moment when a value of T8, T1, T2 or T3 has exceeded T7, the flag 202 will be set. It is error processing. Processes such as brake excitation and others on and thereafter are passed and after controlling a hammer control signal HMR to 1, a next printing command is waited. |
