PURPOSE:To obtain a tablet of stabilized quality by executing a corrosion resistant amorphous coating on the work face of upper punch and lower punch and executing that on the inner peripheral face of a die similarly as well. CONSTITUTION:Upper punch 4 and lower punch 5 are held freely slidably vertically for upper punch holder 6 and lower punch holder 7 and the lower end 4a of the upper punch and the upper end 5a of the lower punch are fitted into a die 3 either. A correction resistant amorphous coating is executed at the adequate place of this die 3 and the punches 4, 5. This is to obtain the surface having a high corrosion resistance, less friction coefft., abundant peeling of powder and excellent wear resistance as well by coating an amorphous metal on the raw material surface in the specified film thickness by a sputtering method. The mixture of a main chemical powder and additive is filled up inside the die 3 and compressed between the upper and lower punches 4, 5 to make a tablet. When the tablet is removed from the die, there is no danger of causing sticking nor binding and the quality of the tablet can be improved. |
