<p>PURPOSE:To always feed constant amount of steam to a desorption mechanism by providing a regenerative mechanism in the feed system of steam for desorbing activated carbon and storing steam therein and replenishing stored steam at a time when the steam for desorption is insufficient. CONSTITUTION:Ordinarily steam generated in an evaporator 7 is sent to an adsorption tower 12 of activated carbon via a suction pipe 8 and a compressor 9 and a solvent is desorbed and introduced into a gas-liquid separator 16 and water is recovered together with the solvent and steam is returned to the evaporator 7. When the steam for desorption is insufficient, steam is sent to the adsorption tower 12 via a replenishment pipe 21 and a feed pipe 11 by indication of a flow rate indicating controller 15 from a hot water tank 2 which is a regenerative mechanism fed with steam from a steam generating installation and thereby a constant amount of steam for desorption is always sent to the adsorption tower 12.</p> |
