PURPOSE:To increase the speed of opening work, by a method wherein the side surface of a package is partially depressed by a press means and the package is moved so that the formed depression becomes the rising and falling position of a bifurcated pawl body and said bifurcated pawl body is allowed to fall to the depression to be inserted in a bundling member. CONSTITUTION:When a package 2 is placed at the opening position 7 of a feed apparatus 3, the package 2 is pressed by a push means 14 to be laterally moved until brought into contact with a holding apparatus 18. In this lateral moving process, a press means 17A receiving the pressing force due to the push apparatus 14 depresses a part of the side surface of the package 2. The package 2 of this state is moved by the feed apparatus 3 to move the depression 2A thereof to the rising and falling position of a bifurcated pawl body 10. When the fiburcated pawl body 10 falls to the separated gap between a bundling member 4 and the side surface of the package 2, the bifurcated pawl body 10 is inserted only in the bundling member 4 binding the package 2. By this method, the bundling member such as the wire bundling the package can be automatically taken up by a simple operation due to the insertion and rotation of the bifurcated pawl body and opening work is made rapid. |
