PURPOSE:To use only one sensor and to measure even the level of a liquid by providing a solenoid and a switch which is turned on and off by the solenoid in a container which contains liquid and gas, and feeding electricity to the solenoid and measuring the time up to the closure of the switch. CONSTITUTION:A stirring member 2 is normally pulled by a spring 3 as shown by an arrow A, but when a voltage is applied to the solenoid from a central arithmetic processor 7, the member 2 is drawn in the opposite direction from the arrow A to cause variation in the container. Further, the switch 5 in the off-state is turned on in a time T. In this time T, the member 2 causes the variation in the container 1 and the on state is changed by the liquid or gas in the container. Then the processor 7 measures the time T according to their viscosity characteristics to measure the viscosity of the liquid or gas. |
