PURPOSE:To obtain a composition capable of providing a molded article having excellent surface gloss by open molding process, containing a specific unsaturated polyester, a specific unsaturated monomer, microcrystalline wax and calcium carbonate. CONSTITUTION:A composition which consists of (A) an unsaturated polyester comprising an acid component containing 30-40mol.% maleic anhydride or fumaric acid and an alcohol component containing 30-60mol.% diethylene glycol, (B) 80-120pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. composition A of an unsaturated monomer (e.g. vinyl acetate) containing at least one polymerizable double bond in one molecule, (C) 0.005-0.2pt.wt. based on 100pts.wt. sum of the components A and B of microcrystalline wax and (D) <=100pts.wt. calcium carbonate preferably having 1.5-10mu particle diameter and 20-26cc/100g oil absorption and is obtained by dissolving the component A in the component B, mixing the blend with the component C, heating the mixture at >= the melting point while stirring and adding the component D to the mixture. |
