发明名称 ANODE PLATE FOR ALKALINE STORAGE BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To completely decompose lignin in a lignocellulose short fiber in an electrolyte to increase high rate discharge performance by covering a part of the outer surface of a lignocellulose short fiber in an anode plate for an alkaline storage battery with a conductive metal film, and gradually dissolving the lignin in the lignocellulose short fiber from the uncovered part. CONSTITUTION:A paste-like active material mainly comprising a cadmium compound is applied to an anode plate for an alkaline storage battery. Lignocellulose short fibers in each of which a part of the outer surface is covered with a conductive metal film are added to the paste-like active material. The lignocellulose short fiber having a specified length is gathered from wood and its outer surface is cadmiun-plated or nickel-plated by electroless plating. Lignin is gradually dissolved from the part where no conductive metal film is formed in an electrolyte and the lignin in the lignocellulose short fiber is completely decomposed in the electrolyte.
