PURPOSE:To operate a computer such as a personal computer in unmanned operation without destructing software by informing an electronic equipment of a power-interrupted state and cutting off a current through a power supply line. CONSTITUTION:If a power interruption or others occurs, the voltage of a power input terminal 1 drops, if a power interruption information is outputted to the personal-computer-side through an RS232C terminal 14 or a light pen signal line terminal 14. In the event of this power interruption information, the emergency saving of files is executed by a program in a computer such as a personal computer, then the files are closed. After thus completing the processing, the personal computer outputs a power-down instruction through the terminal 14. Upon receiving this instruction, the titled interface cuts off the current through the power line by a current cut-off means 5 incorporated in itself. Also, after the lapse of a set time, the power line is cut off by the means 5 similarly. As a result, an damage on an uninterruptive power supply can be prevented. |
