<p>PURPOSE:To reproduce without executing an automatic tracking at the second and subsequent reproducing by learning once the most suitable tracking adjusted value and storing it in a memory at the time of reproducing a video signal stored on a magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:At the time of reproducing the video signal, when identification information to coincide with a device number memorized in a control track is not recorded, a control means 1 allows the automatic tracking to be executed, allows a memory 7 to store the tracking adjusted value at that time and allows the control track to record the identification information composed of the recorder number and a magnetic tape address. When the identification information to coincide with the memorized recorder number is recorded, the tracking adjusted value is read out of the address of the memory 7 suited to the recorder number in the identification information and a tracking action is executed. Thus, by recording the identification information only once, the reproducing can be executed without giving an automatic tracking instruction at the second and subsequent reproducing.</p> |
