<p>PURPOSE:To shorten time required for processing a ROM by using four IC sockets and providing a ROM writer which can program four EPROMs at the same time. CONSTITUTION:The ROM writer 4 having four IC sockets 5 for the EPROM is built in a work station main body 1. When the system of an user is a 32 bits microprocessor application system and a memory is the EPROM, four EPROM are needed at least because the EPROM is normally 8 bits width. Then, the user inputs a software integrated in his own system to the work station 1 from a keyboard 3 while locking at a CRT 2, transfers an object code after being processed by a CPU 7 to the ROM writer 4 with 32 bits width through a parallel interface 8 and programs four EPROMs 6 at the same time. Thus, the time required for processing the ROM can be shortened.</p> |
