<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of paper jam and paper dust by forming a position restricting plate in its part, adapted to a recording medium, into a shape along the circular arc with the swivel center of the position restricting plate serving as the center. CONSTITUTION:Two rollers 4, receiving paper 2 from a chute 5 to be conveyed to a sensitive drum 7, are provided. A gate 16 opening and closing is provided between the rollers 4 and 4, and after the paper 2 places its point end in a position at a right angle with the conveying direction, the gate 16 is turned about an axis 9 in the clockwise direction and opened. The gate 16 adapts a surface of its position restricting plate 16b to the paper 2, and this surface is formed into a circular arc shape with the axis 9 serving as the center. Thus generating no flexing force of the paper 2 between its point end and the position restricting plate 16b, when the gate 16 opens, while smoothly opening the gate 16, the generation of paper dust and paper jam is prevented.</p> |
