<p>PURPOSE: To attain the high speed scrolling of the whole screen and inter-picture operation between pictures obtained before and after scrolling by making it possible to shift a registering address in an output side frame memory from a reading address in an input side frame memory in a column/row direction. CONSTITUTION: The system has plural frame memories PM1 to PM5 and outputs from respective frame memories PM1 to PM5 are inputted to plural selectors SEL1 to SEL3 in parallel. An operation part CUL is connected to the post stage of respective selectors SEL1 to SEL3 to execute inter-image operation among outputs from respective selectors SEL1 to SEL3. The reading/writing addresses of respective frame memories PM1 to PM5 are specified by address counters AC1 to AC5 and the reading address of the frame memory PM1 and the writing address of the frame memory PM2 e.g. are set up by shifting them in the column/row direction. When a picture stored in the memory PM1 is transferred to the memory PM2, a picture obtained by scrolling the picture of the memory PM1 is written in the memory PM2.</p> |
