TAR SENSING DEVICE FOR WICK BURNER

PURPOSE:To provide a simple configuration, reduce a trouble and improve a safety of a tar sensing device by a method wherein adhesion of tar to a wick is detected in reference to a driving time of a motor for moving up or down a wick. CONSTITUTION:A wick 5 is moved up or down under rotation of a motor 14 through a shaft 10, arms 11 and 12 and a cam 13, and the motor 14 is driven and controlled by a motor driving circuit 16. The motor circuit 16 may drive the motor 14 in such a direction as one to rising the wick 5 through operation of an ignition button 18. The wick is ignited by an igniter to start combustion. The wick 6 is lowered under operation of a diminishing button 19 to terminate combustion. A timer 20 may start to count time when the motor driving circuit 16 may output a signal in such a direction as one to lower the wick through the diminishing button 19. A tar sensing part 21 may output a signal to an informing part 23 or a combustion terminating part 24 as the fact that tar is adhered when a signal is not inputted to show that the wick 6 occupies a diminishing position from a diminishing position switch 22 while a predetermined time elapses at the timer part 20 for measuring time so as to inform an abnormal state and in simultaneous with this operation, the combustion is forcedly stopped.
