PURPOSE:To reduce the number of optical parts and to constitute an optical circuit in a narrow space by providing an inclined end face on a core to be an optical waveguide and dividing the incident light into two or more light beams such as the reflected light and the transmitted light by the end face. CONSTITUTION:A core 3 to be an optical waveguide is buried in a substrate 2 of an optical circuit board 1, and its one end face is an inclined end face 4. When the light is made incident on this end face 4 from a light source 5, it is divided into reflected light 9a and transmitted light 9b by the inclined end face 4, and the reflected light 9a is received by a photodetector 6 and the transmitted light 9b is reflected on a reflection plate 7 and is received by a photodetector 16. Thus, a conventionally used spectroscope is unnecessary and only one light source is used to reduce the number of parts. Consequently, this optical circuit board 1 is used to constitute an optical circuit in a narrow space, and the device is miniaturized. |
