PURPOSE: To improve the safety by constituting a cover lever in such a state as delaying its return even when an opening/closing handle is returned, and preventing the hand from being caught in between the handle and the lever. CONSTITUTION: When a cover lever 3 is pushed against a spring 15 in closing a door, the tip of a lock spring 6 enters into a through hole 32 to lock it so that an operation recess 9 is opened. Secondary, when an opening/closing handle 2 is pulled, a push lever 4 is turned counterclockwise and a cancel lever 5 is turned counterclockwise. Thirdly, an abutment part 30 of an elastic piece 25 of the lever 5 abuts on and extends across a projection 27 of a base 1 and a pawl part 28 is locked to the projection 27. When releasing a hand from the handle 2 or weakening the drawing force, the handle 2 is turned in the direction for closing the recess 9, the lever 4 is returned to its original position, and a presser part 22 presses the abutment part 30 of the lever 5. The return of the lever 3 is delayed till the presser part 29 pressurized the spring 6, while the lever 5 slowly returns by a braking action of a damper 7. |
