PURPOSE:To increase amplifier by exciting independently a primary longitudinal oscillation mode lengthwise of a vibrator and a primary bending oscillation mode in the lateral direction of it. CONSTITUTION:Two projections 6 are provided on one side of a vibration plate 1 at a specific interval along the lengthwise, a piezoelectric substance 2 is so placed that said projections hold it, and excites thereby a primary longitudinal oscillation mode lengthwise of a vibrator. In addition, two projection 6 are provided to the outside between two projections at a specific interval along in the lateral direction of the vibration plate 1, a piezoelectric substance 2 is placed between projections 6, and excites thereby a primary width bending oscillation mode in the lateral direction of a vibrator. Pressure welding between the vibrator and a moving substance 5 such as a paper etc., is made by a roller 3. Accordingly, when high-frequency voltage is independently applied to the piezoelectric substance 2 by means of a normal method, the thrust and velocity can be increased about twice as much as an existing vibrator has. |
