Title compd. [(I); Ar=1- or 2-naphthyl, 2,3-dihydro-1H-inden4(or 5)- yl, Ph (opt. substd. by halogen, lower alkyl, alkoxy); R1 and R2=H, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, Ph; X=O or S; R3 and R4=H2 lower alkyl, Ph(opt. substd. by a halogen, lower alkyl or alkoxy); NR3R4=heterocyclic group; alK1 and alK2 = lower alkylene or lower alkylene-lower alkyl was prepd. by the reaction of compd. (IIa) and compd. (III). Compd. (I) are antiarrhythmic agents with high activity. Dose is 1-100 mg/kg. Specific (I) is N-[2-(3,4- dichlorophenoxy)ethyl -N'-(2-dimethylaminoethyl)N-(1-methylethyl) urea.
