PURPOSE: To obtain an implantable silicone reservoir, by applying a masking material between two layers of silicone elastomer, expanding the two layers, and adding a coated area to non-adhesivity by the layers. CONSTITUTION: A surface portion of an at least partially uncured primary silicone elastomer layer is coated with a masking material selected from a group comprising of a silicone materials easily unsoluble to the silicone elastomer such as uncurable fluorosilicone compositions and curable fluorosilicone compositions. An at least partially uncured secondary silicone elastomer layer on contacting with the surface of the primary layer is arranged. The covered primary and secondary layers are cured under their contacting states and a reservoir is supplied between the layers closed by the sealed surroundings to produce an implantable expandable reservoir. A preferable silicone elastomer is curable composition through an addition of≡SiH to CH2=CHSi≡under presence of a catalyst, such as curable composition by crosslinking of a peroxide curable elastomer compositions through their free radicals.
